Puppet Series is a curated online gloving competition series where innovation

meets artistry, featuring distinctive formats and evolving competitive structures

designed to challenge, inspire, and elevate the community.

“Masterpiece” is the first competition in the series.

Glovers film and submit their lightshow video that resembles what they envision

as a masterpiece.

8 videos will be selected to enter the bracket. Earning a place in the Top 8 guarantees a cash award, while each advancement unlocks additional prize earnings.

Selection into the Top 8 guarantees a cash prize. Each advancement through the bracket earns additional prize money.

Each matchup is judged by Starlight & Vex. In the result of a tie, matchups will be decided by popular vote.

Although these competitors are no longer in contention, their performances continue to be featured as part of the Masterpiece collection. Each entry represents the creativity, skill, and dedication that made this competition possible.

◈ Lightshow videos must not depict a bedroom lightshow.

  • YES Studio lightshows.

  • YES Outdoor lightshows.

  • YES Nicely composed areas.

◈ Showcasing 1 glover only. No doubles, group lightshows, or cyphers.

◈ Horizontal resolution. Accepted 1080p or 4k.

◈ (New) Competitors may wear masks during their performance. Upon request, participants must provide verification that they are the individual appearing in the submitted video.

◈ No props.

◈ Length of video must not exceed over 5 minutes.

◈ Any song is allowed.

◈ Music must be overlayed.

◈ No hard edits or cuts. Simply a lightshow video.

  • YES Color grading.

  • YES Cinematic black bars.

  • YES Text in the intro.

◈ Video must be still or on a tripod. No gimbal shots or camera movement.
